The Good News: There has been a 2/5 reduction in the use of illegal anabolic steroids.

The Bad News: The Mr. America Contest is going to really suck.

Hey, at least we won't see Barry Bonds...

I knew a guy who went from skinny to major muscles -- I ran into him just before his wedding, he had gone back to skinny. If a guy did that past his 20's, would the extra skin just hang there?

The guy on the far left should take it if they have a dance competion this year. Isn't he the geezer from the Six Flags ads?

Well...it depends on how heavy you were. Back in '81,I'd been out of work for a long time and weighed 225 lbs, which at my height(5'9") is quite a lot. I finally found a job, and a year later, I had lost 80 lbs. The stretch marks remained, but the skin wasn't that loose. On the other hand, a guy I knew had gastric bypass surgery, resulting in a weightloss of over 150 lbs. After the surgery, he resembled a sharpei puppy. I guess it all depends on your constitution.

I have heard some horror stories -- many folks apparently need plastic surgery.

225 at 5-9 to 145, good for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I weighed about 240 when I was 16, 140 when I was 20 and back up to 230 at age 31. Now I finally have some grip on my weight and I have been around 180-190 for the last two years. Starting smoking at age 17 and quitting at age 28 was a huge contribution to my change in weight.

but better that you quit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
