The Roar of the Greasepaint, The Smell of the Exhaust

For those of you looking for pictures of Steve Coombs, above is one that you might not have seen. Go to his site to see others. While you're here, you can read all the of the posts about him listed below. You might recall that our friend and fellow blogger Meagan assures us that for an actor to list that he is a licensed driver on his resume is a normal and sensible thing to do.

On the other hand, Kaitlin Howard is an actress and a licensed fork-lift driver! That's right, she's a licensed fork-lift operator. Maegan will have to explain to us how that is relevant to acting -- meanwhile, I'll be searching for that elusive actor plus brain surgeon.-----------------------------------

Good old Steve Coombs.

Hmm, well, if an actor wanted to also help out as a crew member (which would NEVER happen) then I guess a forklift might be necessary.

Or maybe auditioning for, say, a movie set in a construction zone.

didn't Kevin Bacon drive a fork-lift in the movie with the giant worms, or maybe it was a bulldozer

Not only is Ms. Howard a licensed fork lift driver, she really looks like a young Stevie Nicks.
here is her other picture

Also, I noticed that she listed "Poi" as a skill. I thought poi was a food.

If that's the case, I would like to claim "burritos" as one of my skills.
she is a woman of many talents! isn't poi those torches they twirl at a luau? I know it's the food at a luau that no one likes, but I thought it was also all that whirling fire juggling --
-- small donkeys are one of you skills?????

along the lines of Kevin Bacon... didn't that chick in Flashdance drive a forklift thing while brandishing a blowtorch? Or maybe that was just one of my warped dreams...
she just welded, a forklift would be a different union (it was Pittsburgh)
