I think the problem is that you are sensing my presence of weirdness in your vicinity. As I type this, I am sitting at a desk in Carthage, Missouri. Has Rooty started barking yet?

Getting your kicks on Route 66??????

America's Maple Leaf City! <-- I have never understood what that means!!!!

I knew we should have done something about immigration when Pat Buchanan told us to!!!!

I knew you were making it up, I just checked SiteMeter and StatCounter!!!!!!!!!!

I was in Carthage, but Nicole's ISP is in Tyler, Texas. At least, that's what she says. Now I'm in Tulsa. I've really been all over this area. I'll blog about it soon.

I don't think we'll make it as far east as the STL, so you and Rooty are safe! (Though we will probably stop at the largest McDonald's in the world, if you think that's noteworthy. It's a big bridge that spans the freeway!!!)

The photo below is the McDonald's of which Stan speaks -- it was built as a Howard Johnson's over the Will Rogers Turnpike (I-44, tollroad) between Joplin Mo and Tulsa OK. [Everyone's favorite Will Rogers Turnpike exit: Big Cabin -- a town where there was once a...well, you can figure that out. Favorite signs: "Do No Drive Into Smoke."]

Stan -- I see you are traveling around with your imaginary friend "Nicole" again, we were all so hoping the pills would help. I can certainly understand why you would leave the scenic Pacific Northwest to vacation in SW Missouri, or maybe not!!!!

I saw the Do Not Drive Into Smoke signs! I was going to take a picture and blog about it, but, well, I was driving. Yes, driving, not riding in the back of a white van with a straitjacket on. (Although those are so cozy, and it's like I'm hugging myself. Happy!)
