Those kinds of storms scare the hell out of me, but then again, I'm a bit of a bad weatherphobic. Glad to see your power came back on.
Our power was out the other day in the afternoon for about four hours only there was no storm or any reason I knew of for it to be out.
I think it's cute that Rooty finds comfort on top of the sofa. I mean, under a cushion, in back of the sofa, under the sofa, but on top??? He's such an adorable.
