the people in that neighborhood were probably really pleased -- it's even brighter when the late afternoon sun hits it (it was about noon when I took the pictures today)

At least it's kind of neatly done. There is a house near me that had always been kind of off white and it looked fine. Then it went up for sale a few year ago. Shortly after the sale signs were down the roof and the front of the garage were suddenly done in checkerboard alternating between blue and white. It looked horrible. My best guess is that maybe it was owned by coach of a high school team as the closest high school has those school colors.

Maybe it is a sign of changing demographics Jim. I mean, primary colors for houses are fairly common around here, if you know what I mean!
