Just the facts

Babies is 1/2 the world are potty trained by 12 months.

Babies in the other 1/2 use disposable diapers.

The average baby boy in the United States gives up diapers at 39 months and the average girl at 36 months.

Then there was the kid that I saw at Wal*Mart yesterday, who had to be four or five years old, and was still wearing a diaper.

He looked like he was shoplifting a ham.

My mom said she potty trained both my brother and I when we reached around 18 months old. Mainly she was tired of diaper duty. You'd think as lazy americans we'd be more on the ball than that!

animals don't like to live in their own filth, so ages 0 to 6 months we teach the kid that's okay -- then we switch to super-absorbent diapers and the kid doesn't even know when he/she goes
