"Woman accused of trying to set boyfriend on fire"

The headline above was a headline in today's newspaper.

I believe that, technically speaking, after you strike the match he's no longer your boyfriend!

    Come on! It was just that once. Can't you forgive me? I promise not to do it again!

    Actually, I do know a woman who has repeatedly set fire to her husband's socks while he was wearing them. They both think it's hilarious, which explains why they're still together.

    I'm not so sure. I know many dumb people that would take their boy/girlfirend back after that. Sad, but true.
