You could always comment to commenters. It boosts up the number of comments that way.
The NEW Blogger, Blogger Beta, etc.etc., I had so much trouble and I really liked Blogger. Everyone complained that they couldn't leave comments or else I couldn't, so I had to leave. Well, sooner or later, they will get it together.
